Oct. 23-24 - Internet Sensation Comedic Cody Ready for Two-Night Stand at Side Splitters
WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — A massive wave of live entertainment is rolling into the local theater district next week. Stand-up comedian and viral video creator Cody Smith—known to over 9 million digital followers as Comedic Cody—is officially confirmed to bring his live comedy tour to Side Splitters Comedy Theatre at The Grove for a two-night special event on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24, 2026.
What to Expect
Smith Lewis Smith grew up in Altavista, Virginia, turning a natural knack for making people laugh into a multi-platform comedy empire that has generated over 2 billion views. The energetic live performance features his signature sharp wit, self-deprecating life stories, and beloved character sketches like "Rodney". Hosted inside Theatre #7 at the B&B Theatres complex, the special engagement is restricted to audiences 18 and older. Multiple showtimes are scheduled across the weekend, and guests seated in Rows A, B, and C should note there is a standard two-item minimum purchase rule inside the live showroom.
Why It Matters for Wesley Chapel
The expansion of Side Splitters into the local area gives North Tampa and Pasco County residents access to national headlining performers without driving south into the core Dale Mabry venue. Bringing premium, high-following talent directly to the local container park district turns a casual night at the cinema into a premier regional entertainment hub.
