WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — Avalon Park Wesley Chapel Fall Fest takes over the community this Saturday, Oct. 17, with a full day of family activities running from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 4424 Friendly Way. The festival is presented by Higher Growth Journey Foundation & Enterprises.
What's on the Schedule
The day opens with a Young Entrepreneur Spotlight from 10 to 11:30 a.m. (check-in at 9:30 a.m.), where kids take the stage to present their businesses to the community. The organizer lists recognition awards that include Best Overall Business and a Community Impact Award.
A Youth Talent Show for ages 5 to 17 follows from noon to 2 p.m., featuring singers, dancers, musicians and other performers. Throughout the day, the community's event calendar lists a kids zone, vendors, food trucks, a pumpkin patch and live music.
Kids Market After Dark
From 5 to 9 p.m., the Kids Market joins the festival, giving young entrepreneurs a chance to set up shop and sell their products to visitors.
Why It Matters for Wesley Chapel
Fall Fest gives local kids a real stage, whether they're pitching a business or performing in front of a crowd, while giving families a full day of fall activities without leaving the neighborhood. It's also the first of two big fall festivals in the area, ahead of the Wesley Chapel Fall Festival scheduled at The Grove later in October.
