Pet Wants Franchise Debuts "Paw Spa" at The Hub at Lexington

WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — Local pet owners have a new neighborhood gathering space to pamper their dogs. Pet Wants Wesley Chapel officially opened its doors on Friday, October 16, anchoring a retail slot inside the newly developed The Hub at Lexington commercial center.

What to Expect

The specialized boutique focuses on fresh, natural pet food, artisan treats, and high-quality animal care supplies. Moving past standard pet retail, the facility features an interactive, self-wash Paw Spa and a unique Dog Cafe designed to encourage neighborhood socialization. To celebrate the grand opening, the business hosted free dog baths for community members as part of the commercial plaza's broader launch festivities. The franchise is owned and operated by Nicki Davis, a local mother of four and veteran independent retailer who previously established the local gift boutique All Good Things Gifts.

Why It Matters for Wesley Chapel

As walkable lifestyle centers like The Hub at Lexington continue to materialize along Wesley Chapel Boulevard, independent business owners are shifting away from traditional strip-mall footprints. The addition of a specialized pet wellness hub caters directly to the lifestyle needs of families moving into nearby sub-divisions, providing a trusted local alternative to national corporate pet supply chains.
