Wesley Chapel Waffle House Closes for Full Remodel; Reopening Expected in 2-3 Months

WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — The Wesley Chapel Waffle House is closed for a full remodel. The restaurant at 5421 Village Market, off State Road 54 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, shut its doors in late September, with the work expected to be finished within the next two or three months, according to The Wesley Chapel Loop.

What's Changing

The remodel will refresh the restaurant from top to bottom, with new flooring, updated ceiling tiles and lighting, reupholstered booths, and fresh paint inside and out. The goal is a cleaner, brighter version of the same restaurant, not a new concept. The familiar yellow-and-red color scheme and the Waffle House logo embossed on its signature waffles are expected to stay.

What to Know Before You Go

The location normally serves customers around the clock, but online listings currently show it as temporarily closed. A specific reopening date has not been announced. The restaurant's phone number is 813-973-2801.

Why It Matters for Wesley Chapel

The Waffle House near I-75 Exit 279 has long been a go-to for early-morning breakfasts and late-night meals, so regulars will need to find another option until it reopens.
