Whether you want to stay close to home in Wesley Chapel or make a short road trip to one of the surrounding communities, there's a free fireworks celebration within easy reach.

Downtown Avalon Park Wesley Chapel — The Closest Option for Most Wesley Chapel Residents 

The annual Avalon Park Independence Day Celebration runs from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at 5060 River Glen Blvd. The evening kicks off with the patriotic Bike Parade — lineup begins at 6:45 PM, parade steps off at 7:00 PM. Bring a decorated bike, wagon, or stroller and join the procession. Awards go to the most patriotic entries. The rest of the evening includes bounce houses, mini sparklers for kids, giveaways, and a fireworks show at approximately 8:30 PM.

New Port Richey — Family Fun Along the Water 

The City of New Port Richey hosts a full city celebration from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with bounce houses, water slides, face painting, food trucks, live entertainment, a hot dog eating contest, and fireworks over Orange Lake.

Zephyrhills SummerFest — The Biggest Party in East Pasco 

SummerFest runs 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM and packs in food trucks, local vendors, a kids zone, pony rides, a petting zoo, games, contests, and live entertainment — capped off with fireworks over Zephyr Lake. One of the most complete Independence Day events in the county.

St. George Greek Orthodox Church — A Hidden Gem in New Port Richey 

A free community celebration from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM featuring food trucks, vendors, kids activities, live music, a beer garden, and fireworks at 9:00 PM. One of the most underrated July 4th events in Pasco County.
