Avalon Park's Art Snacks Series Returns for a New Round of Weekly Classes

WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — Avalon Park Wesley Chapel's popular Art Snacks series is back for another stretch of weekly classes, giving residents a low-commitment way to try a new art technique every week through late October.

Two sessions are running in parallel: Tuesday classes started Sept. 1, and Wednesday classes begin Sept. 2, both continuing weekly through late October at the Avalon Park Flats Leasing Trailer.

What's on the Schedule

Each week focuses on a different artist and technique — from charcoal studies inspired by John Singer Sargent to botanical drawing in colored pencil, watercolor techniques drawn from Paul Klee and J.M.W. Turner, and acrylic work inspired by Winslow Homer and Van Gogh.

Classes are $25 each, or $200 for the full series, with all supplies included and instruction led by artist Sally Yoder.

Why It Matters for Wesley Chapel

For residents looking for a regular creative outlet close to home, Art Snacks offers a structured, beginner-friendly way to build art skills over time without a long-term studio commitment.
