Bahama Breeze Wesley Chapel to Close Nov. 7, Yard House Expected to Open Dec. 9

WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — Bahama Breeze Wesley Chapel is scheduled to close Nov. 7 after eight years on S.R. 56, with a Yard House expected to open in the same building Dec. 9, according to Tampa Bay Beacons.

Why the Change

Parent company Darden Restaurants announced in February that it would close or convert all of its remaining Bahama Breeze restaurants. The Sierra Center Boulevard location was one of 14 slated for conversion to another Darden brand rather than permanent closure. Darden’s list gives the address as Lutz, but the restaurant sits across from Tampa Premium Outlets in the Wesley Chapel area. At the time, Darden did not say which brand would take over the Wesley Chapel location.

About Yard House

Yard House is a sports bar-style restaurant known for an extensive menu and a large selection of draft beers. The Wesley Chapel restaurant will join an existing Yard House at Water Street in Tampa.
