Major Land Transaction Clears Path for 556-Home Kinfield Community Along I-75

WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — Residential housing and infrastructure options are set to surge following a massive land transaction finalized on Friday, Oct. 30. Real estate developers Hines and Krusen-Douglas announced the formal sale of a prominent section of their master-planned Kinfield development.

The Scope of Development

The freshly closed land deal clears the way to build 556 single-family detached homes. This initial neighborhood deployment accounts for nearly all the residential capacity allowed under the property's 2024 zoning entitlements, which also include layouts for another 1,550 townhome and multifamily units elsewhere on the property.

The Broader Master Plan

The massive Kinfield project sits positioned to heavily impact the regional landscape, blending a scenic extension of the Orange Belt Trail with a robust 3 million square feet of light industrial facilities, 500,000 square feet of high-end corporate offices, and a 250-room hotel destination.
