Downtown Saturday Market Sets Grand Autumn Return to Avalon Park

WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — Open-air neighborhood shopping is returning to the eastern side of the community. In coordination with Florida Penguin Productions, organizers finalized the grand seasonal return of the Downtown Saturday Market at Avalon Park on Saturday, October 10, 2026, operating from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

What to Expect

Taking over the central pedestrian walkways at 4424 Friendly Way, the open-air merchant bazaar returns with a completely refreshed layout to celebrate the official opening of the community's newest park space. Attendees can explore rows of local small businesses, cottage-industry bakers, and independent regional makers. The market offers a wide variety of handmade gifts, autumn home decor, custom accessories, and artisanal food items.

The gathering is fully handicap accessible, family-oriented, pet-friendly, and offers completely free admission alongside open public parking. Following this weekend's launch, the market will recur on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month through December.

Why It Matters for Wesley Chapel

As master-planned communities in Pasco County expand, standalone open-air markets provide an essential incubator platform for small, independent startups to reach brick-and-mortar audiences without heavy overhead costs. For residents, it re-establishes a highly consistent, walkable weekend footprint focused on supporting local commerce and creating community connections right outside their front doors.
