Tiên's Sandwich Brings Vietnamese Banh Mi to Wesley Chapel This Fall

WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — A taste of Vietnam is coming to Wiregrass Ranch. Tiên's Sandwich, a new fast-casual banh mi and boba tea shop, is set to open at 2557 Mansfield Blvd. this November.

What to Expect

Tiên's will serve Vietnamese-French submarine-style sandwiches, with ingredients imported from Vietnam and tea brought in from Taiwan. Sandwiches range from $5.95 for a mini to $9.95 for a signature banh mi. Owner Tommy Nguyen said the shop's baguettes rely on a proprietary flour blend designed for the right balance of crunch and airy fluff, noting that different regions of Vietnam have their own techniques for getting that texture right.

The restaurant's recipes draw on the culinary background of Nguyen's wife's family, who have consulted for multiple Vietnamese restaurants across Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Tampa Bay, including the now-shuttered Pho Nhu Trang.

Why It Matters for Wesley Chapel

Tiên's adds another distinct, locally-owned option to Wiregrass Ranch's growing restaurant lineup, giving residents a dedicated spot for authentic Vietnamese banh mi rather than driving into Tampa for it. Nguyen said the team is already eyeing future plans to add regional specialties and eventually open a full-service restaurant down the road.
