Zoning Board Approves Commercial Map Realignment for Wesley Chapel Blvd

WESLEY CHAPEL / PASCO COUNTY, FL — Commercial land-use adjustments confirmed on Monday, Oct. 19, show that the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners has officially greenlit a strategic real estate change to facilitate incoming retail development (Commercial Map Realignment) along Wesley Chapel Boulevard.

The Approved Changes

The board voted unanimously to approve a comprehensive land-use map amendment for a 3.33-acre commercial tract situated directly at the intersection of Wesley Chapel Boulevard and Loury Drive. The alignment shifts the acreage into an active high-density commercial zoning tier, paving the way for initial site plan submittals.

Long-Term Commercial Push

The regulatory approval acts as a vital step in clearing the pipeline for a wave of new strip-center retail spaces, medical offices, and fast-casual dining spaces designed to sit right alongside the heavily traveled thoroughfare.

📍 Development Site — Wesley Chapel Blvd & Loury Dr, Wesley Chapel, FL

📅 Final Approval: October 2026
